Child theme gives you the possibility that when you are customizing the theme as you want, you can update the theme without missing the changes. A child theme ensures that all your customizations will not be overwritten even when you update the parent theme. Without child theme, you need to get backup from the theme and its files’ changes and replace them in each update. But if you put these codes in the child theme, there is no need to replace the changed files. You can put them in the child theme and update the theme easily.
