automatically.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Existing events can be synchronized manually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deleted or trashed events are updated on connected subsites.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Related event information such as categories, locations, organizers, tags, and other supported data is synchronized.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use this option when your main website should be the central location for managing events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sync_Shortcodes\"><\/span><strong>Sync Shortcodes<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enable this option to synchronize MEC Calendar Shortcodes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When enabled:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New and updated shortcodes are synchronized.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deleted shortcodes are removed from connected subsites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use this option when multiple websites need the same calendar displays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sync_Settings\"><\/span><strong>Sync Settings<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This option synchronizes supported MEC configuration settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Supported settings may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>General settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Styling configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use it when you want event pages across multiple websites to have the same sidebar widget setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Managing_Subsites\"><\/span><strong>Managing Subsites<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The site management section in MEC Multisite Event Sync Addon allows you to choose which websites participate in synchronization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To enable a website:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Multisite dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the website in your network class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sync_Existing_Events\"><\/span><strong>Sync Existing Events<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If events already exist before enabling synchronization, you can manually synchronize them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Multisite dashboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the manual synchronization section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the events you want to synchronize.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Sync connected subsites:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Synchronized events are read-only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Editing options are disabled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administrators are directed to edit the original event on the main website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To update a synchronized event:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Edit the event on the main website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save your changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The changes are synchronized automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Website A sells 5 tickets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Website B sells 3 tickets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The remaining availability is calculated using the total synchronized copies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After unlinking, future updates from the main website will no longer affect those copies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
