In order to manually update MEC Lite, you need to visit MEC Lite official page<\/a> at Webnus and hit the “Register & Download”<\/strong> button (the blue one in the middle of the page).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, you will be asked for your personal information. Fill out the required fields (First and Last Name and Email) and hit the green “Subscribe & Download”<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>MEC Pro Manual Update<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you already own MEC Pro and you want to upgrade it to the latest version, you need to log in to your Webnus dashboard<\/a> and download the latest archive file of the plugin (as mentioned in the installation documentation<\/a> before). Then you can follow the latest step of this instruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>How to Manually Update the Modern Events Calendar?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can achieve this by one of the following ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>Via WordPress:<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click Add New<\/strong> and then hit Upload Plugin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on Choose File<\/strong> and browse for \u201cmodern-events-calendar.zip\u201d<\/strong> or \u201caddon_name.zip\u201d <\/strong>on your computer, then click Install Now<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. The newer version of the plugin will be uploaded and installed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Unzip the \u201cmodern-events-calendar.zip\u201d <\/strong>or \u201caddon_name.zip\u201d <\/strong>archive file that you\u2019ve downloaded before.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Upload the plugin folder into \u201c\/wp-content\/plugins\/\u201d <\/strong>and replace all of the files and folders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

      You can manually download MEC from Webnus panel or WordPress plugins repository, then go to FTP and to the folder wp-content\/plugins. Then upload the zip file there, and extract it in the same place to replac the previous files.
