Our client base is on the rise progressively and we’re in need of a skillful Web Support Coordinator to provide our clients impressive support and service. You can be part of this project and of our team. You can work alongside project managers and clients and will be responsible for documenting support requests, managing deadlines, and executing tasks and projects regarding website and design support. If you wish to apply for this position, you need to be experienced in some areas such as WordPress, basic Photoshop, and HTML & CSS.

Along with these, you need to be an excellent communicator who uses established processes consistently, and utilizes management tools. Understanding the client’s goals and needs clearly is also of paramount importance.

WordPress Developer

Responsibilities
  • Develops, supports, and maintains client WordPress websites in a Linux environment.
  • Works closely with the client management teams to ensure functionality needs are handled effectively through native WordPress functionality or customization via available plug-ins.
  • Hand-codes clean, semantic, standards-compliant and responsive HTML and CSS3 themes.
  • Maintains strict version controls and can work with Git-based repositories.
  • Evaluates design during the design and user experience phase.
  • Conducts cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent display.
  • Looks for ways to improve overall user experience and performance of websites.
  • Ability to commit to deadlines and communicate to project manager and invested parties about updates if those deadlines cannot be met.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with WordPress including custom theme development and front-end development and configuration
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL
  • Well versed in CSS, HTML, AJAX, and JavaScript
  • HTML5 and CSS3 (Bootstrap) skills
  • Understanding of jQuery and other JavaScript libraries
  • Experience with PHP development
  • Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, developing custom themes and custom plugins
  • Ability to multi-task with shifting priorities based on client needs
  • Comfortable working on tight deadlines and in a team environment
  • A strong desire to stay abreast of the newest web technologies and frameworks
  • Responsive site development experience (preferred but not required)
  • Experience working with REST APIs (preferred but not required)
  • A solid understanding of SEO principles and creating search engine friendly web pages (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge/use of website accessibility standards (preferred but not required)

Customer Support

Responsibilities
  • Answer support tickets – You will be responsible for replying to support tickets via email or chat
  • Provide superb customer support – Provide clear customer service via different channels, solving technical problems that have to do with WordPress, website design and maintenance.
  • Solve customer problems – Answer a variety of product related questions through our support desk, in a professional, empathetic and courteous way.
  • Find out about bugs – Finding and reporting bugs or other issues when they are reported by any of our users.
  • Answer pre-sale questions – You will help answer any questions potential customers might have. You will also assist in making the right decision concerning buying Elementor.
Requirements
  • Superb level of English
  • Substantial experience with WordPress, and knowledge using plugins
  • Knowledge of CSS & HTML
  • Knowledge installing WordPress on Linux servers (FileZilla/DirectAdmin/cPanel)
  • Exceptional courtesy and overall a “people’s person”
  • jQuery, PHP and other coding knowledge
  • Experience as an online chat agent - an advantage

Technical Support

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced support via emails or chat in a timely manner 
  • Strive to solve customers’ issues related to server environment
  • Create a positive customer experience by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Respond to questions on products and services
  • Test and assist in providing a conduit of communication between the Support team and the Development team
Requirements
  • Superb level of English
  • A solid understanding of web hosting, website, and internet-based products and services
  • At least 1 year of experience in a leading role
  • Substantial experience with WordPress, and knowledge using plugins
  • High sense of urgency
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently
  • Exceptional courtesy and overall a “people’s person”
  • Knowledge of CSS & HTML - an advantage
