Primary Logos

Our brand uses two core logo variants for different backgrounds. The left column shows the Webnus logo (dark version for light backgrounds). The right column displays the MEC logo in dark and light versions. Both come in SVG and PNG formats. Always use them in their original form.

Webnus Logos
Our Webnus logo is provided in full-color and white versions. Use the full-color (dark) logo on light backgrounds, and the light (white) logo on dark backgrounds to ensure visibility. Whenever introducing Webnus, use one of these primary logos.

The Modern Events Calendar (MEC) logo also comes in light and dark variants. Use the dark (colored) logo on white or light surfaces, and the light (white) logo on dark surfaces. This ensures legibility and brand consistency across all uses.

Brand Typography

Consistent typography strengthens our brand identity. We use a modern sans-serif typeface for clarity. For both Webnus and MEC:
Primary Typeface: Montserrat

Font Family: Montserrat (or a similar clean sans-serif).

Headings: Montserrat Bold – used for titles and headings (e.g., ~32px for H1).

Body Text: Montserrat Regular – used for paragraphs and body copy (~16px).

Usage guidelines

Keeping headings bolder than body text ensures hierarchy.

For example, Webnus pages might use 36px for main titles and 24px for subheads, with 16px body text.

MEC content can use slightly smaller headings (e.g. 30px) to match context, and 14–16px for body. Always ensure text is large enough to read and matches the brand fonts.

This approach mirrors the principle that “consistent typography… is instantly recognizable”.

Logo Usage Rules

To maintain clarity, observe these logo usage rules:

Keep a margin of empty space around the logo (at least the logo’s own height on all sides) to avoid clutter. No other graphic elements or text should encroach on this area.

Never distort, rotate, or stretch the logo. Do not change its colors beyond the approved palette or apply filters (no outlines, shadows, etc.).

Use the dark (colored) logo on light backgrounds, and the light (white) logo on dark backgrounds. Ensure there is enough contrast – avoid placing the logo on busy or similarly-colored backgrounds.

Always use the version of the logo suited for the background. (For example, place the white logo on solid dark areas, never on patterned backgrounds without a protective shape.)
