Step 1: Access the Event Editor

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Events section and find the event for which you want to create an excerpt.
3. Open the event editor by clicking on the respective event.

Step 2: Locate Excerpt Settings

Block Editor

Navigate to the single event edit page. In the block editor, you can find the Excerpt box in the page sidebar.

Classic Editor

To edit/add the MEC excerpt in the Classic Editor, navigate to the single event edit page and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the MEC Excerpt box.

Now that you have created an excerpt for your event, it will be displayed on the front end of your website within the event’s section.
